ABOUT OCTAVIO

Octavio Warnock-Graham is a native Ohioan but has lived in New York City for over 10 years. After graduating from SUNY Purchase in 1993, he spent the next 10 years working as a lighting technician/gaffer in theater and television. Most recently he has worked on The Apprentice: Seasons I, II, and III and the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

In the fall of 2004, he returned to school to pursue an MFA degree in documentary writing and producing. While in school he has carried a 3.85 G.P.A. and has been honored with grants from National Board of Review and the Nyman Family Award.

While studying documentary writing and production, he has developed an accomplished reel as a cinematographer. His film credits include two features currently in post production, Aaron Loves Kendra, directed by Jeff Oppenheim and U.N. Fever, directed by Andrea Weiss. Most recently, Octavio worked as the key cinematographer on 6 AM, directed by Carmen Vidal Balanzat and selected as a finalist in the 2005 Student Academy Awards.
